PERSONAL BIO

I am proud to say that I was born and bred in Memphis. In fact, I was one of the first babies born at the new Baptist East Hospital. Most of my family is in the area, and it’s definitely home to me.

I have two teenagers who keep me on my toes and keep my calendar full with their sports practices, games and other activities. I am a single mom and I was raised by a working, single mom who is, 100 percent, the person I admire the most. I didn’t realize this when growing up but now that I am in a similar position, I look back and think she made it seem so easy. I definitely got my drive and work ethic from her. As a working mom, I want to be the best version of myself for my kids and our clients.

I am a very laid back, go-with-the-flow person, but I am definitely not someone who sits back and lets life just happen to her. I think looking at the big picture in life and in my career is one reason why I love working in financial services; I love helping our clients with the “why” of what we’re working on.

I have always wanted to work with people; my grandmother tells me that I would say this often as a child, and as I’ve spent my entire career in financial services. I guess it was my true calling!

As I’m pretty relaxed, my ideal escape would be to the beaches in and around Destin. I spent my summers going there after my dad relocated to the area. I’m also happy visiting with friends around a pool or a bonfire. But I do want to travel the world, especially with my kids now that they are older and before they are “grown and flown.” We may just have to wait until their calendars aren’t quite so full!

What you see is what you get with me; I’m loyal, honest and caring and I hope clients feel this. If I had a personal motto, it would be: Let’s be still and just breathe. I think everything looks better if you just take a moment to reflect; it’s never as bad as you think.
